Flat on my back because I’m old, browsing cars I won’t buy. I’m a little surprised to see clean classics for under 10k.

Three on the tree, baby.

Same price, similar vintage, but ugh, auto. But pretty.

Not nearly in the same class as those, but a nice clean blue wagon for cheap.

Mercury is modestly rare and neat in that early 60s Ford way that some enjoy , but I don’t know if it is quite that neat.  Even more fun if it is manual steering and brakes.

The other two could be fair deals.

They can do things with that little inline 6.

I’ve never understood the appeal.

I see Caprice wagons occasionally but they are always white with vinyl woodgrain. Never that blue on blue and never a black interior.

Personally (hiding behind barricade) I’d take an automatic over a three on the tree any day. I’ve driven multiple vehicles with one and never felt comfortable or enjoyed it.

Of the three the wagon could be a killer bargain.

Here’s my contribution to the reasonably priced blue classic roundup.

The first is right up my alley. The second is more a curious idea. It could show better with a good interior cleaning and a few pictures with the hood closed; assuming it actually closes.
